How to estimate the cost of your carpet cleaning

You must first measure the area of the rooms or hallways that you want cleaned.

In our example we have measured all of the rooms, noted their dimensions and the square footage. In addition, there are 14 stairs we want cleaned. We have chosen the budget package.

We have determined that we have 524 square feet of carpet to be cleaned. I believe my home has medium soil levels (some spots in the traffic areas), so I estimate it will be $0.35 a square foot.

I know that $90 covers 360 sq.ft. So I have additional 164 sq.ft. to clean.

My estimated cost will be:
360 square feet=$90
164 square feet at .35=$57.40
14 stairs at $2 per stair=$28
Total=$175.40
